Your first appointment will include an extensive case history to determine an overview of your current health, including medical history, gut health, genetics, nutritional status, dietary analysis and lifestyle factors.
Please email forward any recent tests or bloodwork you have had done in the last 12 months.
At the end of your first appointment, an individual treatment plan including a prescription and recommendations will be formulated and emailed to you within 24 hours.
Nutritional supplements, herbal medicine, diet and lifestyle recommendations will be suggested to provide short and long term relief. These will be delivered to your door.
We may also preform or request further investigations and pathology tests - such as general pathology, allergy testing, heavy metal analysis.
Your test kit is delivered to your door with detailed instructions. Your sample is posted to the nearest lab, and your results are sent directly to me. We will go through your results together in a consultation where I’ll share my screen with you so you understand every aspect and be able to ask questions as we go along. Outside testing is not included in the consultation price.
As the naturopathic treatment is progressive, treatment strategies are in-depth and must be monitored and reviewed to ensure you are receiving optimal treatment.
This session is an opportunity to fine-tune and make any changes to your individualised treatment plan and to follow up on any pathology results.
Ideally, the follow-up consultation will be two weeks after the initial consultation.
This is quick consultation for acute conditions such as coughs, colds, flu, hayfever, infection.
Or for current clients that have already attended their follow-up consultation, to organise continued care and repeat prescriptions.
These consultations can be completed online via Zoom, or over the telephone. Any products can be picked up in Doreen at your convenience or posted out to you.
We have a strict cancellation policy. We ask that you give at least 24 hours to change or cancel your appointment time so that others may use the time allocated to you and and avoid the cancellation fee. A cancellation fee of the normal consult fee will apply if cancelled less than 24 hours.
Rescheduling appointments requires a minimum of 24 hours notice. Rescheduling appointments within 24 hours of the consultation will be based on our discretion, and may incur 50% of the fee. Failure to attend will result in a booking forfeit of 100% of the fee.
